Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Community Manager. You will supervise onsite staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and administration while ensuring compliance with company policies and fair housing guidelines.

In this role you will handle rent posting, account reconciliation, and delinquency follow-up to optimize cash flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community.
• Manage posting payments, reconcile accounts, and rent collections.
• Maintain budgeted revenues and NOI; ensure timely end-of-month closing.
• Supervise staff, train, coach, and develop onsite team.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.
