Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to lead daily operations and financial activities at a housing community. You will oversee staff, ensure safety and fair housing compliance, and optimize cash flow through delinquency management.

Responsibilities include posting payments, reconciling accounts, budgeting, and maintaining records. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community.
• Supervise property staff and ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines.
• Manage accounts receivable, rent collection, and delinquency control.
• Assist with budgeting to meet revenue and NOI targets.
• Post charges, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct regular property inspections and ensure maintenance needs are met.
