Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager. You will play a vital role in delinquency management and rent collection to optimize cash flow and financial position.

You will supervise onsite staff, ensure policy compliance, manage leasing, maintenance, and administration, and support risk management. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager.
• Assist with delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise on-site staff and ensure compliance with company policies and fair housing guidelines.
• Manage leasing, maintenance, and administrative tasks; support risk management.
• Lead resident relations, address complaints, and implement retention programs.
• Conduct regular property inspections and ensure timely repairs and reporting.
