Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community, under supervision of the Community Manager. You will help manage delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow and ensure compliance with company policies and fair housing guidelines.

As onsite leader, you will supervise staff, support leasing efforts, coordinate maintenance, and ensure accurate records, budgeting, and reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in housing industry, or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor and follow up on bad debt and send late notices.
• Help property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities where applicable.
• Close end-of-month procedures and generate reports.
• Maintain accurate records and audit resident files.
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents.
