Job summary

GCS Recruitment Specialists seeks a reliable Support Engineer to provide onsite IT support for Operations facilities. You will manage end-user devices, printers, networking gear, and OT environments according to SOPs and SLAs.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, independence, and willingness to participate in on-call rotations and site shifts. A year of IT support experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on IT support experience.
• Experience imaging and deploying laptops.
• Printer troubleshooting and support experience.
• Basic networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Windows 11 and Linux environments.
• Experience working within a ticketing system.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and SOPs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Image, configure, deploy, and maintain laptops and desktop systems.
• Provide technical support for Windows 11 and Linux environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware, OS, and application issues.
• Support user onboarding and workstation setup activities.
• Diagnose and resolve printer issues, including network printers.
• Perform basic networking troubleshooting and cabling issues.
• Respond to equipment failures and restore service per SOPs.
• Assist with asset management and lifecycle activities.
• Handle tickets and service requests within SLA.
