GCS Recruitment Specialists is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide onsite end-user support at Operations facilities in Illinois. The role requires hands-on IT support, ticketing-system work, and strong troubleshooting in Windows 11 and Linux environments.

You will image, deploy, and maintain devices, assist with printers and networking, and participate in on-call rotations and site shift schedules as part of a responsive IT team.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on IT support experience.
• Imaging, deployment, and maintenance of laptops/desktops.
• Printer troubleshooting and support.
• Basic networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Windows 11 and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with a ticketing system environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and SOPs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Image, configure, deploy, and maintain laptops and desktops.
• Provide technical support for Windows 11 and Linux environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, and application issues.
• Support user onboarding and workstation setup activities.
• Diagnose and resolve printer issues, including network printers.
• Perform basic networking troubleshooting and cabling issues.
• Respond to service requests within SLA and escalate when needed.
• Follow Change Management processes and SOPs.
