Job summary

CompucomStaffing is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join their team onsite in Springdale, OH. You will provide end-user support, repair and configure PCs, laptops and peripherals, and assist with server and network maintenance.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hands-on IT support, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. On-site role with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in PC hardware and software support.
• Experience with enterprise tech: Office 365, Windows 10, imaging, ticketing systems.
• Executive white glove support experience.
• Asset management experience.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Repair, test, image and clean PCs, laptops, monitors, printers, and related hardware.
• Troubleshoot software and peripherals; configure and add hardware.
• Perform IMAC tasks for printer migration and PC refreshes.
• Ensure tickets receive follow-up and necessary attention.
• Assist with server installations, upgrades, patches, and maintenance.
• Perform backup, recovery and security procedures.
• Diagnose network hardware and performance issues.
• Install, configure and maintain physical network.
• Provide on-site end-user support face-to-face at the customer site.
• Assist in documenting process improvements and resolutions.
• Escalate and coordinate with Site Leader per procedures.
