Job summary

CompucomStaffing is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our client onsite in Seattle, WA. You will provide hands-on and remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices, while triaging issues and maintaining equipment inventories.

The role requires strong customer service, solid technical skills in Windows and Microsoft 365, and the ability to work in a fast-paced enterprise environment with SLAs and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• 1–3+ years desktop support, help desk, or related experience.
• Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Familiarity with ITSM ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote desktop support for PCs, laptops, printers, and mobiles.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS, and connectivity issues.
• Install, image, deploy, and maintain endpoint devices per procedures.
• Manage inventory, asset tracking, and device lifecycle activities.
• Respond to incidents through ticketing systems and meet SLAs.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level teams when needed.
• Assist with OS upgrades, software, patches, and rollout projects.
• Support backup and recovery tasks and maintain KB articles.
