Job summary

CompucomStaffing is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for onsite support in Chicago, IL. The role focuses on end-user IT support in a Windows enterprise environment and requires independent troubleshooting and effective customer service.

The candidate will handle onsite Level 2 support for devices, manage incidents in ServiceNow, and assist with Microsoft 365, AD, and endpoint management tools in a fast-paced corporate setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of enterprise desktop support experience.
• Windows 10/11 expertise.
• Hands-on break/fix and hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience managing incidents in ServiceNow.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook/Teams/OneDrive).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite Level 2 desktop support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, docking stations, monitors, printers, and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a Windows 10/11 environment.
• Perform hands-on break/fix repairs, component replacements, and troubleshooting.
• Install, configure, and support enterprise software applications and operating systems.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Office Suite.
