Job summary

CompucomStaffing, on behalf of our client in Chicago, IL, seeks a Desktop Support Technician to deliver onsite end-user support in a Windows enterprise environment. You will troubleshoot Windows 10/11, resolve hardware/software issues, and document resolutions and tickets for accountability.

The role requires strong customer service, independent problem solving, and the ability to work across multiple sites.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of enterprise desktop support experience.
Proficient in Windows 10/11 troubleshooting and hardware repair/service.
Experience handling incidents and requests via ServiceNow.
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive).

Responsibilities

Provide onsite Level 2 desktop support for PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues in a Windows enterprise environment.
Install and support enterprise software and operating systems.
Manage incidents and service requests in ServiceNow with proper documentation.
Assist with asset deployment, lifecycle, and warranty coordination.
Support Active Directory, VPN, and network connectivity issues.
Collaborate on IT projects and endpoint management tasks.
