Job summary

CompucomStaffing in Chicago, IL seeks an experienced Desktop Support Technician to provide on-site end-user support in a Windows enterprise environment. You will troubleshoot hardware/software, configure enterprise apps, and manage tickets in ServiceNow while supporting Microsoft 365 and AD-related tasks.

The role requires strong customer service, independent problem-solving, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior VIP/Executive support experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of enterprise desktop support experience.
• Strong experience with Windows 10/11 and end-user devices.
• Experience with ServiceNow incident/ticketing and ITIL practices.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps, AD, VPN, and device management.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite Level 2 desktop support for PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a Windows enterprise environment.
• Install, configure, and support enterprise software and operating systems.
• Manage incidents and service requests in ServiceNow and document resolutions.
• Support Intune/SCCM/MECM and endpoint management platforms.
• Assist with Active Directory account issues, password resets, and permissions.
