Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Turnover Manager for an onsite data center project in Robstown, TX. You will lead a team to verify, document, and turnover systems, coordinating with construction, CQV, subcontractors, and clients to close punch lists and complete pre-commissioning activities.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of turnover experience on pharma/biotech or data center projects, strong cross-discipline coordination, and the ability to work onsite for the project duration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or management field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of Construction Turnover experience on Pharma/Biotechnology projects, Data Center projects or equivalent.
• Experience leading walkdowns with sub-contractors and clients to drive punch list closure.
• Experience in supervisory role with cross-discipline coordination.
• Onsite for duration of work; able to spend continuous hours on active construction site.
• OSHA 10 Certification; GDP familiarity.
• Experience implementing turnover programs across multiple sites.
• Ability to standardize processes across different locations.
• Willingness to travel between project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead field verification and documentation of systems on an active construction site via walkdown activities and team leadership.
• Coordinate with construction, CQV, subcontractors, and clients to ensure testing, documentation, and pre-commissioning activities are completed.
• Develop and standardize turnover programs across multiple sites and align with P6 schedule for final turnover to CQV.
• Read P&IDs, line diagrams, panel layouts, and CSA drawings to define system scope and boundaries.
• Oversee turnover package assembly and ensure timely transfer of care, custody, and control to clients.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
