Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily on-site operations and financial functions for the housing community. You will supervise staff, support leasing, maintenance, and risk management under the Community Manager's guidance.

Responsibilities include delinquency management, posting payments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and fair housing guidelines. This role focuses on strong leadership, tenant relations, and accurate financial operations on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income; reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt; prepare late notices and evictions as needed.
• Assist in meeting budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities.
• End-of-month closing and reporting.

Education
