Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee the daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under the Community Manager. This role supports on-site staff, ensures accurate posting of payments, and helps maximize cash flow.

You will supervise leasing, maintenance, and admin tasks while ensuring compliance with safety, fair housing, and company policies. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in housing.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee posting of payments and income from residents and applicants accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable and monitor bad debt.
• Assist with budgeted revenues/expenses and net operating income targets.
• Supervise leasing, maintenance, administration and risk management in the Community Manager’s absence.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.
