Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee day-to-day housing operations under the Community Manager, focusing on delinquency control and cash flow optimization.

You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, finance, and risk, ensuring safety, fair housing compliance, and efficient property performance. The role requires coordinating with management to meet budgeted goals and providing excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2+ years housing experience.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site operations under Community Manager, including leasing, maintenance, and administration.
• Manage rent collection, accounts receivable, and budgeted revenues/expenses to support NOI.
• Supervise staff, hire, train, coach, and develop onsite team while ensuring policy compliance.
• Proactively address resident concerns and execute retention initiatives and leasing activities.
