Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under the Community Manager.

As an onsite leader, you supervise staff, leasing, maintenance and administrative tasks; ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines. This role focuses on delinquency control, rent collections, budgeting, and tenant satisfaction while supporting property performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s preferred or 2 years housing experience.
• Ability to use onsite software and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
• Strong leadership and leasing/marketing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Post and reconcile payments and income from residents accurately and timely.
• Manage accounts receivable and monitor bad debt; follow up on delinquencies and evictions.
• Supervise onsite staff; enforce company policies and provide coaching.
• Implement leasing strategies and marketing plans; ensure accurate lease documentation.
• Conduct property inspections; monitor maintenance response and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety and fair housing guidelines across operations.
