Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under the Community Manager’s supervision. You will help optimize cash flow through rent collection, budgeting, and risk management while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.

As onsite leader, you will supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, and administrative tasks; post payments, reconcile accounts, and support resident

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in housing industry.
• Basic computer skills required to manage software and records.
• Fair Housing knowledge and OSHA familiarity are expected.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately from residents and applicants.
• Reconcile daily accounts receivable and monitor collections.
• Assist with budgeting, NOI, and maintaining financial reports.
• Supervise onsite staff, leasing, maintenance, and admin functions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
• Support resident retention programs and marketing efforts.
• Show, lease, and move-in prospective residents.
