Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and financial functions of a housing community, under the supervision of the Community Manager. You will manage payments, accounts receivable, and ensure compliance with policies.

You will supervise staff, support leasing, maintenance, and risk management, and help optimize cash flow, budgets, and NOI while upholding fair housing and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s preferred or two years in housing.
• Ability to perform onsite software functions and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations and financial functions under the Community Manager.
• Post payments and reconcile accounts receivable; monitor delinquency and evictions.
• Help meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Manage staff performance, training, and compliance with company policies.
• Conduct regular unit inspections and ensure safety and occupancy standards.
• Respond to resident concerns and ensure high levels of resident satisfaction.
