Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under the Community Manager. You will contribute to rent collection, budget alignment, and staff supervision to ensure policy compliance and resident satisfaction.

The role requires managing all aspects of operations, including leasing, maintenance, and risk management, while promoting timely service and adhering to Fair Housing guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in housing industry.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Posting and reconciling payments and income from residents and applicants.
• Monitoring and following up on bad debt including notices and evictions.
• Managing end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
• Maintaining accurate records and auditing resident files.
• Supervising staff operations and ensuring policy compliance.
