Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community, reporting to the Community Manager. You will help manage delinquency, collect rents, and oversee staff, leasing, maintenance, and risk management onsite.

The role requires coordinating with property teams to meet budgets, maintain records, and ensure compliance with fair housing and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years housing industry experience; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations under Community Manager supervision.
• Manage delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, admin & risk management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.
