Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under the Community Manager. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines, and support delinquency and rent collection to maintain cash flow.

You will post payments, reconcile accounts, manage end-of-month closing, maintain records, and coordinate leasing, maintenance, and vendor interactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2 years housing industry experience.
• Ability to perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Posting payments and income accurately and promptly.
• Processing and reconciling daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor and follow up on bad debt and evictions.
• Manage end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
• Maintain accurate records and audit resident files.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention.
• Lead onsite staff development and ensure policy compliance.
