Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations, financial functions, and staff under the Community Manager. You will handle rent collection, delinquency, and lease administration on a property-by-property basis.

The role emphasizes maintaining financial health, compliance with safety and fair housing rules, and delivering strong resident relations and revenue performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2 years housing experience; or 1–2 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income from applicants, residents, and non-residents accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt; prepare late notices and coordinate evictions.
• Help meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Post charges and handle utility bill-backs; close end-of-month procedures.
• Oversee staff performance, onboarding, and ongoing training.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
