Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under the Community Manager’s supervision. You will help manage delinquency, collections, leasing, maintenance, and risk management on-site.

You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with policies, and support budgeted revenues and NOI while delivering strong resident service and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Posting payments and income accurately and timely.
• Processing and reconciling daily account receivables.
• Monitor bad debt, issue late notices and assist with evictions.
• Help meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill-back utilities.
• Perform end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
• Maintain organized records and audit resident files.
• Walk units, post move-out charges and refunds.
• Oversee staff performance and training.

Education
