Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily property operations and financial functions under the Community Manager’s supervision. You will drive rent collection, maintain cash flow, and oversee leasing, maintenance, and risk management on site.

The role emphasizes supervising onsite staff, enforcing fair housing guidelines, and ensuring occupancy targets are met while maintaining property standards and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years housing experience; or equivalent combination.
• Ability to perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately from all residents and applicants.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable and monitor bad debt.
• Assist in meeting budgeted revenues/expenses and NOI.
• Post charges and bill backs; handle move-out charges and deposits.
• Perform end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
• Audit resident files for accuracy and maintain organized records.
• Supervise onsite staff and ensure policy compliance and training.
• Show, lease, and move-in prospective residents; manage leasing processes.
