Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under the Community Manager. The role emphasizes delinquency management, lease administration, and staff supervision to ensure compliance and excellent resident service.

You will lead leasing activities, execute marketing plans, and develop resident retention programs while maintaining property standards and working with maintenance and administration to protect cash

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under Community Manager supervision.
• Manage accounts receivable, posting payments, and monthly close procedures to support cash flow.
• Supervise onsite staff, hiring/training/coaching and ensuring policy compliance and safety standards.
• Develop and implement leasing strategies and resident retention programs to hit budgeted revenues and occupancy targets.
• Coordinate marketing, showings, leasing, and move-in procedures; respond to resident concerns and requests.
• Ensure property appearance and maintenance standards through regular inspections and coordination with vendors.
