Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under the Community Manager. You will supervise onsite staff, manage rent collection, and ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and Fair Housing guidelines.

This role handles payments posting, accounts receivable, budgeting alignment, and resident relations, with opportunities to lead leasing and marketing efforts on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred or 2 years housing industry experience; or 1-2 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations under Community Manager.
• Manage delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise onsite staff and ensure compliance with policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.
• Post payments and reconcile receivables; monitor end-of-month closings.
• Support strategic leasing and resident relations on site.
