Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community. You will supervise staff, manage rent collection, and ensure adherence to policies while supporting leasing and resident relations on site.

Key duties include posting payments, processing receivables, and assisting with budgeted revenues and expenses. This role emphasizes compliance with Fair Housing laws and strong teamwork in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community.
• Manage postings, receipts, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise onsite staff and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Support leasing, marketing, and resident relations to meet occupancy goals.
