Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager. You will manage rent collection, AR, and month-end close while supervising leasing, maintenance, and admin staff on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Community Manager oversees the daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager.
• Manage posting and reconciliation of payments, account receivables, and rent collections.
• Assist in budgeting, revenue/expense monitoring, and Net Operating Income targets.
• Supervise onsite staff, including leasing, maintenance, and administration; ensure compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.
• Conduct regular property inspections, enforce safety standards, and maintain records and reports.
• Support marketing and leasing strategies, conduct tours, and process leases with accuracy.
• Handle resident concerns, complaints, and move-in/move-out activities; ensure customer service excellence.
