Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, and ensure compliance with safety and fair housing guidelines.

The role emphasizes responsible rent collection, budget adherence, and effective operation management on-site, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvements and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community.
• Manage delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise staff and ensure compliance with company policies and safety guidelines.
• Post payments and income; reconcile accounts receivable; monitor bad debt; close end-of-month reporting.
