Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily housing operations under the Community Manager. You will manage cash flow, rent collections, and financial processes while ensuring policy compliance and resident satisfaction.

The role includes supervising onsite staff, coordinating leasing, maintenance, and admin tasks, and implementing marketing and retention efforts to support budgeted goals and NOI.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately.
• Process and reconcile daily receivables.
• Monitor bad debt and send late notices.
• Help property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill backs where applicable.
• Perform end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
