Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee the daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under the Community Manager’s supervision.

You will manage rent collection, posting payments, and accounts receivable, while helping meet budget targets and NOI. This role involves supervising staff, enforcing safety and fair housing standards, and ensuring resident satisfaction and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in housing industry or related field.
• Ability to use onsite software and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under supervision of Community Manager.
• Manage rent collection, posting payments, and accounts receivable.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and Net Operating Income; support lease negotiations.
• Supervise onsite staff, provide training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
