Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations under the Community Manager, focusing on rent collection and financial performance of the housing community.

You will supervise onsite staff, coordinate leasing, maintenance, and admin tasks, and ensure compliance with safety and fair housing guidelines while supporting budget goals and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2 years in housing industry.
• Ability to understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations under the Community Manager to ensure smooth performance.
• Manage delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, and administration per company policies.
• Ensure compliance with safety and fair housing guidelines.
• Assist with budgeting, reporting, and end-of-month close procedures.
