Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Affordable Housing Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions at an on-site property under the Community Manager.

The role emphasizes delinquency management, rent collection, staffing, leasing, maintenance, and compliance with fair housing and company policies while delivering strong resident service. Applicants should have at least one year of affordable housing experience and familiarity with LIHTC/HUD programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations under the Community Manager for the housing community.
• Manage delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise onsite staff, leasing, maintenance, and administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.
• Post charges, process payments, and monitor end-of-month closings.
