Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community on-site. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines, and optimize cash flow and occupancy.

The role requires at least a high school diploma with housing experience or related training; knowledge of fair housing and OSHA rules is preferred, plus basic software skills for onsite tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under the supervision of the Community Manager.
• Supervise onsite staff and ensure compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.
• Post payments, reconcile receivables, and manage budgeted revenues and net operating income.
• Plan for and utilize property resources, equipment, and supplies economically.
• Deal with resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure resident satisfaction.

Education
