Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations at our housing communities. Working under the Community Manager, you will help manage leasing, maintenance, and financial functions while guiding on-site staff to ensure smooth operations and strong cash flow.

The role emphasizes delinquency management, rent collection, budget adherence, and compliance with safety and fair housing guidelines across our portfolio.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in housing industry.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately and timely from applicants and residents.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt and filing evictions as needed.
• Help property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities when applicable.
• Maintain records and audit resident files for accuracy.
• Walk units and post move-out charges and refunds.
• Supervise on-site staff and ensure policy compliance.
