Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions for a housing community on-site, under the Community Manager's supervision. You will play a vital role in delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow and financial position.

The role requires strong staff leadership, leasing oversight, and compliance with Fair Housing and OSHA requirements, with an emphasis on building a safe, compliant, and resident-focused community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community.
• Manage on-site staff, leasing, maintenance, financial administration & risk management in the absence of the Community Manager.
• Supervise all aspects of the property and staff to ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines.
• Assist with marketing leasing strategies and resident relations to maintain occupancy and retention.

Education
