Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations of an affordable housing community under the supervision of the Community Manager. You will help manage leasing, staffing, maintenance, and financial tasks to optimize cash flow while ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

On-site leadership requires strong customer service, the ability to train and coach staff, and commitment to resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations under the Community Manager.
• Manage delinquency and rent collections.
• Supervise onsite staff and leasing.
• Ensure compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.
• Maintain property appearance and budget performance.
