Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an Ambulatory Service Representative to perform a variety of administrative tasks in a busy ambulatory setting in Southbridge, MA. Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 3 years of related experience; waived if candidate has an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• Must be able to use specialized applications software and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and patients for scheduled or urgent appointments.
• Verify patient demographic and insurance information.
• Collect co-payments from patients upon arrival.
• Coordinate with clinicians to schedule appointments and tests.
• Prepare patient information for clinicians and ensure records are accurate.
