Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Santa Cruz, CA. This role supports the Property Manager and serves as a liaison between our office, guests, and residents on maintenance and other issues.

You will respond to questions, coordinate maintenance, process applications, prepare lease documents, and manage financial tasks. Strong organizational and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of on-site property management experience.
• Strong customer service and basic knowledge of building structures.
• Experience coordinating and scheduling appointments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other web-based applications, including email and financial systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize guest needs.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Property Manager in all aspects of property management.
• Act as liaison between office, guests and residents for maintenance and issues.
• Respond to questions and complaints promptly.
• Coordinate maintenance calls and generate work orders.
• Prepare lease agreements and move-in documents; handle file audits.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, credit card reconciliations and deposits.
• Maintain calendars and perform general administrative tasks.
