Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties in Spring Valley, CA seeks an Assistant Manager to support the Property Manager and serve as a liaison between our office, guests and residents. This on-site role emphasizes coordination of maintenance and administrative duties to ensure a smooth, welcoming community experience.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and at least 3+ years in on-site property management, with strong Microsoft Office skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of on-site property management experience.
• Strong customer service experience and basic knowledge of building structures.

Responsibilities

• Respond to questions and complaints in a timely manner.
• Contact tenants to address issues requiring immediate attention.
• Schedule maintenance calls and generate work orders for repairs.
• Order inventory and obtain estimates for repairs.
• Process new applications for long-term residency, including background checks and file maintenance.
• Assist Activities team with hiring entertainment, purchasing supplies and managing ticket sales for events.
• Manage petty cash, accounts payable/receivable, credit card reconciliations, and bank deposits.
• Manage calendars and perform general administrative tasks.
