Job summary

Equity Lifestyle Properties, Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the property manager and act as liaison with guests and residents on maintenance and other issues.

This role includes coordinating maintenance, processing applications for long-term residency, and handling administrative tasks with attention to detail. You will manage calendars, handle accounts payable/receivable, and assist with events while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or combination of education and equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of on-site property management experience.
• Strong customer service and basic knowledge of building structures.
• Experience coordinating and scheduling appointments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Respond to questions and complaints in a timely manner.
• Contact tenants to address issues requiring immediate attention.
• Schedule maintenance calls and generate work orders.
• Order inventory and obtain repairs estimates.
• Process new applications for long-term residency, including background checks.
• Assist Activities team with hiring, purchasing supplies and managing ticket sales for events.
• Manage petty cash, accounts payable/receivable, credit card and bank deposits.
• Manage calendars and perform general administrative tasks.
