Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties in Santa Cruz, CA is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager across all aspects of on-site management. You will liaise with guests and residents, coordinate maintenance, and handle leasing paperwork and vendor setup.

You should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3+ years in on-site property management, and strong customer service with basic knowledge of building structures. A valid driver’s license and insurance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of on-site property management experience.
• Strong customer service experience and basic knowledge of building structures.
• Experience coordinating and scheduling appointments.

Responsibilities

• Respond to questions and complaints in a timely manner.
• Contact tenants to address issues requiring immediate attention.
• Schedule maintenance calls and generate work orders.
• Order inventory and obtain repair estimates.
• Set up or renew vendors and collect insurance documents.
• Process new applications for long-term residency including background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements and move-in documents.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, credit card reconciliations, and deposits.
• Manage calendars and perform general administrative tasks.
