Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Construction Control Representative for Dyess AFB in Texas. This on-site role monitors contractor performance and ensures compliance with contract requirements from pre-construction through closeout.

The position requires strong inspection and documentation capabilities, RMS familiarity, and the ability to obtain access to military installations. A DoD/AF/USACE background is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting large, complex construction projects.
• Experience with federal construction projects (DoD/AF/USACE) preferred.
• Experience inspecting and monitoring construction quality, schedules, contractor performance, and contract compliance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to military installations.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with contract plans, specifications, schedules, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Perform daily site inspections and document project activities, contractor performance, safety observations, work progress, and manpower levels using RMS and other project management systems.
• Monitor construction schedules and advise the Resident Engineer, COR, and project team of potential delays, schedule impacts, or performance concerns.
• Review and analyze contractor submittals, including shop drawings, quality control plans, safety plans, environmental plans, certifications, and progress schedules.
• Participate in the review and processing of RFIs, coordinating responses with designers, engineers, technical experts, and project stakeholders.
• Prepare correspondence regarding contractor performance, REAs, contract compliance issues, and technical concerns.
