Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Construction Control Representative to support Dyess AFB projects in Texas. The role serves as on-site QA, monitors contractor performance, and ensures compliance with contract requirements from pre-construction through closeout.

The candidate will inspect activities, review submittals, coordinate with designers and engineers, and maintain thorough project documentation. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience on large, complex construction projects.
• Experience with federal DoD, Air Force, or USACE projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain access to military installations.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction activities for compliance with plans, specs, schedules, safety, and quality standards.
• Conduct daily site inspections and document activities, contractor performance, safety observations, and progress.
• Monitor schedules and advise stakeholders of potential delays or issues.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, quality plans, safety plans, and certifications.
• Prepare correspondence regarding contractor performance and contract issues.
• Perform quality assurance inspections across all project phases.
