Job summary

Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc is seeking a Construction Control Representative for on-site duties at Dyess AFB, TX. The role focuses on on-site QA, monitoring contractor performance, and ensuring contract compliance from pre-construction through closeout.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of large-scale construction experience, DoD or USACE exposure, and strong documentation and communication skills. A US citizenship and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on large, complex construction projects.
• Experience with DoD, Air Force, or USACE projects preferred.
• Knowledge of construction plans, specs, and contract documents.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction activities for contract compliance.
• Perform daily site inspections and document project activities and safety observations.
• Monitor schedules and advise on delays or performance concerns.
• Review submittals including shop drawings and safety/environment plans.
• Coordinate RFIs with designers, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Prepare correspondence on contractor performance and contract issues.
• Conduct QA inspections through all construction phases.
• Assist with closeout activities, punch lists, and warranty tracking.
