Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Construction Control Representative to support Dyess AFB projects in TX. You will act as on-site QA, monitor contractor performance, ensure contract compliance, verify quality, and support delivery from pre-construction to closeout.

The role requires inspection expertise, familiarity with DoD standards, and strong communication. A background in construction management and ability to access military installations are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; AS/BA in CM/Engineering/Architecture preferred.
• Minimum 5 years on large, complex construction projects.
• DoD/USACE/USAF project experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of construction methods, plans and specs.
• Experience with RMS 3.0 or similar construction mgmt software.
• Able to obtain access to military installations.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction to ensure contract compliance and quality.
• Perform daily site inspections and document progress, safety and manpower.
• Monitor schedules; advise project team of delays or concerns.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, and quality plans for accuracy.
• Prepare correspondence on performance, REAs, and issues.
• Conduct QA inspections across all project phases.
• Assist with scopes, estimates, modifications and evaluations.
• Review payment requests and assist with interim/final estimates.
• Ensure OSHA/EM 385-1-1 compliance and environmental controls.
• Maintain logs, records, photos and project correspondence.
