Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Construction Control Representative to support projects at Dyess AFB, TX.

You will act as on-site QA, monitor contractor performance, verify compliance with contract requirements, and assist from pre-construction through closeout. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (Associate/Bachelor preferred) and 5+ years of large, complex construction experience, including DoD or USACE projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate/Bachelor degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience on large, complex construction projects.
• Experience with DoD/USACE projects strongly preferred.
• Ability to obtain access to military installations.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specs, schedules, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Perform daily site inspections and document project activities, contractor performance, safety observations, work progress, and manpower levels using RMS and other project management systems.
• Monitor construction schedules and advise the Resident Engineer, COR, and project team of potential delays, schedule impacts, or performance concerns.
• Review and analyze contractor submittals, including shop drawings, quality control plans, safety plans, environmental plans, certifications, and progress schedules.
• Participate in the review and processing of RFIs, coordinating responses with designers, engineers, technical experts, and project stakeholders.
• Prepare correspondence regarding contractor performance, REAs, contract issues, and technical concerns.
• Conduct QA inspections throughout all phases of construction and verify compliance with the three-phase inspection process.
• Assist in developing scopes of work, government estimates, contract modifications, and technical evaluations of contractor proposals.
• Review contractor payment requests and assist in preparing partial and final payment estimates.
