Job summary

Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Construction Control Representative to support Dyess AFB projects. You will serve as on-site QA, monitor contractor performance, and ensure compliance from pre-construction through closeout.

The role requires reviewing submittals, coordinating RFIs, tracking schedules, and maintaining meticulous project records while upholding safety and contractual standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's in construction-related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years on large, complex construction projects.
• Experience with federal DoD, Air Force, or USACE projects strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specs, schedules, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Perform daily site inspections and document activities using RMS and project management systems.
• Monitor schedules and advise project team of delays or performance issues.
• Review submittals including shop drawings, QC and safety plans, and environmental plans.
• Process RFIs and coordinate responses with designers and engineers.
• Prepare correspondence on contractor performance, REAs, and contract issues.
• Conduct QA inspections and verify the three-phase inspection process.
• Assist with scopes of work, government estimates, and contract modifications.
• Review payment requests and assist in preparing estimates; verify quantities and storage on-site.
• Ensure OSHA and EM 385-1-1 compliance and maintain records and photos.
