Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Construction Control Representative to support Dyess AFB projects as the on-site QA representative. You will monitor contractor performance, verify quality, and ensure compliance from pre-construction through closeout.

Responsibilities include reviewing submittals, RFIs, and payment estimates, maintaining records, and coordinating with stakeholders. Requires US citizenship and ability to obtain security access.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on large, complex construction projects.
• Experience with federal DoD/USACE projects strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Familiarity with RMS and construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specs, schedules, safety, and quality standards.
• Perform daily site inspections and document activities using RMS and PM systems.
• Monitor schedules and advise project team of delays or concerns.
• Review submittals including shop drawings, quality control and safety plans.
• Participate in RFIs and coordinate responses with designers and engineers.
• Prepare correspondence on contractor performance and contract compliance.
