Job summary

Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Construction Control Representative to support Dyess AFB projects as on-site QA, monitoring contractor performance and ensuring contract compliance from pre-construction through closeout.

The role emphasizes inspection, RFIs, submittal reviews, and coordination with design teams, with a background in DoD or USACE projects preferred. Salary is based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting large, complex construction projects.
• Experience with federal construction projects (DoD/AF/USACE) preferred.
• Experience inspecting and monitoring construction quality, schedules, contractor performance, and contract compliance.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and EM 385-1-1 preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to military installations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, shop drawings, specs and schedules.
• Experience with RMS 3.0 or similar construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction activities to ensure contract compliance.
• Perform daily site inspections and document activities and contractor performance.
• Monitor schedules and advise project team of delays or concerns.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, and safety/environment plans.
• Coordinate RFIs and responses with designers and engineers.
• Prepare correspondence on contractor performance and contract issues.
• Maintain project records, logs, and photographs.
• Support project meetings and site visits.
• Assist with closeout activities and turnover documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
